3 ways to plan your month using the Moon

As mentioned in my last post, I'm going to share how to use the Moon to plan the month ahead, especially when the Moon is now in Gemini and the Gemini New Moon is coming up, so it is a good time for sharing and information flowing! Hope it is useful to all of you...

1) Using the New Moon and Full Moon timing
It is easily understood, because we all make wishes on New Moon and we evaluate our progress in Full Moon. Each month we have the chance to work on different goals, together with the energy available in the sky, we can do things more efficiently!

For example, this month we have a Gemini New Moon, happening at 23 degree. Gemini is a dual sign, especially for the second half of Gemini, i.e. from 15 degree till the end of Gemini, so this New moon is asking us to change. At the same time, Pluto is 150 degree from the New Moon, where Pluto is the planet of transformation, we will have to dump the old and embrace the new, not just a normal change! Further, depositor of the New Moon - Mercury is aspecting Uranus as well, so we will have some sudden idea on how to change or a surprising revolution in our lives. (In which area of our lives will depend on the which house this New Moon is happening, so please check your natal chart.)

2) Using the transiting Moon
Every month the Moon will travel through all 12 signs, so it will stay in one sign for 2 - 2.5 days. So we can rely on the sign the Moon is in for our planning.

For example, Moon is now in Gemini, which is an air sign, representing communication and exchanges (of mind or trades), so it would be a good time to spend with friends for all the chit-chat. Another example, if the Moon is in Capricorn, which is an earth sign and it likes progression. It would be a good time to carry out the plans that you made earlier, rather than keeping it in your head.

3) Using natal Moon
The above methods are based on transiting Moon, this method however is using the position of your natal moon. The first step of course is to find out where it is and then match it with how the moon wane and wax. As mentioned in my last post, Moon represents our emotions, so our emotions will follow the pattern of the Moon.

For example, my natal moon is in Cancer, whenever the transiting moon is in Cancer, I feel really comfortable, I sleep well and I am patient. Its like charging my emotions, and it is a personal New Moon, where I can start planning and carrying out my plans. And from Cancer to the opposite sign, which is Capricorn, representing a 180 degree, a personal Full Moon, I will get better and better. This is the waxing portion. And from Capricorn back to Cancer will be my waning Moon, my energy level will start to decrease. That's when I will need to take things slow, maybe meditate or do some exercise. (In my example, these 2 days transiting Moon is in Gemini, the 12th house of my Moon, so I can't sleep very well and feeling tired all the time.)

The above is only my suggestion and sometimes I use more than 1 approach to plan ahead, and of course other planets in the natal chart will definitely affect your emotions and energy level, the best way is to have a professional astrologer to read your chart.
