About the Moon, Lunar Eclipse and its effect on human race...

Today the super blue blood moon lunar eclipse is taking place, so I think I will talk about the Moon today.

Well, let's see what is a "Super Blue Blood Moon"... First, it is called super because the Moon has orbited to a certain angle that is so close to Earth that it looks so much bigger. And of course its effect on us will also be bigger. Second, it is called blood moon because of the reddish color given to the Moon during the eclipse. And third, whenever there are 2 full moon in a month, it is given the name blue moon. That's where the term comes from and these are the astronomy information given. Trust that you can find more information on the Internet.

From an Astrologer's viewpoint

As an astrologer, I'm looking at this situation from an astrological point of view, so let's see what is the energy shown in the sky. This lunar eclipse is happening at the 11 degree of Leo, conjuncting Rahu (or North Node of the Moon) and Ketu (or South Node of the Moon) at a close degree and further conjunct with Venus at a lesser degree.

Whenever a lunar eclipse happened, it indicates something comes to fruition, completion or an end. And what has come to fruition or an end depends on where this eclipse takes place in your natal chart, i.e. which house it is in. comparing to solar eclipse, which means new beginning, you can see what has been triggered to start. The closest is the solar eclipse happened around 5 months ago in August 2017, the total solar eclipse in Leo 26 degree. (Yes, Leo again!)

Personally I don't think it is a good idea to go through each 12 signs as there are people who will feel less of the effect and it depends very much which planet is being triggered in the natal chart. (That's also the reason why I stop doing monthly horoscope.) But if you are interested, please check your natal chart (click here) and see if your Ascendant, Sun and/or Moon is located from 7 - 15 degrees of Leo, or any other planets located in this range of Leo. Then you will definitely feel it. Those who will also be affected are those having any planets, Ascendant or Midheaven located around 7 - 14 degree in Taurus, Scorpio and Aquarius.

My opinion, as this lunar eclipse is conjuncting Rahu, very likely there is certain gains, something material (less likely be spiritual) be obtained, such as a career, relationship or something that you can see or touch. Put me as an example, I started to have the idea of building up an astrology and tarot platform in Aug 2017, which that solar eclipse touched my 7th house and conjunct my natal Sun. Now this site is up and running. I cannot say it is fully done, as there is still room for improvement, but I am happy that I did it and it is quite a big project for me! Also, to a certain extent, I am changing my life path from a professional consultant to a tarot reader/astrologer. So I believe this is what I gained and has come to certain stage of fruition.

And for the 4 signs that I mentioned, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius, these are the fixed signs in the zodiac. Its work is to sustain what has been started by the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn). The strengths of the fixed signs are that they are stable and persistent, very down to earth to see what can be done to make things better. They are the one who can get things done. However, they can be so inflexible that in a way they are very stubborn. They are also the last one to let go of things that no longer serve him/her. Relating back to this lunar eclipse, despite we gained something, I think, at the same time, that also means there are things we need to let go on a general perspective. As I said, probably be something or someone, we need to make the decision to let it go, because it no longer serves us.

You are welcome to leave your comments below, sharing what you have achieved and came to a fruition or request a natal chart reading to see what in your life is affected by this lunar eclipse.
